Notes

The 2005-06 campaign delivered a heartbreaking end for West Bromwich Albion as the Baggies finished 19th in the Premier League, resulting in relegation to the Championship. Under the management of Bryan Robson, the team struggled for consistency and failed to win any of their final 13 fixtures, despite a memorable mid-season victory over Arsenal. Leading the charge were joint top scorers Nathan Ellington and Nwankwo Kanu, who both fired in 5 league goals in a season defined by the club’s inability to replicate the previous year's "Great Escape." It was a difficult year that marked the end of their two-season stay in the top flight and remains a poignant chapter in the club’s modern history.
