Rare original (2005) version of the away shirt as worn when the side nearly made it to a European final but crashed out of the UEFA cup to Sevilla in the semi-final and finished a respectable 4th in the Bundesliga. Die Königsblauen were able to build on their league form the following year finishing runners-up to Stuttgart in the Bundesliga in 2007 but at the expense of getting knocked out of the UEFA cup in the group stages.
