Notes

The 2005-06 campaign delivered a solid, competitive season for FC Utrecht as Domstedelingen secured a 6th-place finish in the Eredivisie. This position earned them a spot in the UEFA Cup play-offs, where they ultimately fell short of securing European football. Leading the charge was the dependable forward Robin Nelisse, whose 9 league goals proved vital in a campaign built on a tight defense and their best league finish in four seasons. It was a defining chapter that solidified their status as a consistent top-half club in Dutch football.. The 2006-07 campaign delivered a hard-fought season for FC Utrecht, with Domstedelingen ultimately securing a respectable 9th-place finish in the Eredivisie. Leading the line was Tom Caluwé, whose 7 crucial league goals anchored the attack. The season's success was ultimately defined by their dramatic end-of-season play-off victory over Vitesse Arnhem, which secured a coveted spot in the UEFA Intertoto Cup and marked a successful battle for a place in European competition.
