Rare third shirt as worn by AC Milan during the 2006-07 season. The Rossoneri started the 2006–07 Serie A season with an eight-point penalty due to the Calciopoli scandal, a poor run of results during which Milan failed to win for nine-straight matches left them in a lowly 15th place on only 11 points. They managed to find some form and squeezed into 4th place at the end of the season and reached the semi final of the Coppa Italia. But this season wasn't all doom and gloom for AC, they were able to win the Champions League and get revenge on Liverpool in the final two years after the infamous miracle of Istanbul. Kaká was showing why he was one of the best players in the world scoring 10 goals in 12 matches and winning that year's Champions League Golden Boot
