Notes
The 2006-07 campaign delivered a consistent top-half finish for Blackburn Rovers, as Rovers secured 10th place in the Premier League and qualification for the Intertoto Cup under manager Mark Hughes. Leading the charge was the prolific new signing Benni McCarthy, whose 18 league goals saw him finish as the Premier League's second-highest scorer, proving decisive in a campaign built on resilience and cup glory. It was a truly memorable year defined by an historic UEFA Cup run, which saw them top their group, and reaching the FA Cup semi-final, cementing the club's reputation for punching above its weight in a competitive era.
