Notes
Third shirt as worn by the side during their momentous first-leg victory away to Barcelona in the Champions League last 16. Goals from Craig Bellamy and John Arne Riise cancelled out Deco’s opener for the defending champions, as the Reds secured a famous 2-1 win en route to a second Champions League final in three years under Rafael Benítez. Liverpool were unable to replicate the heroics of Istanbul in a repeat of their 2005 final with AC Milan, going down 2-1 to the Rossoneri after a Filippo Inzaghi brace
