Notes

The 2006-07 campaign saw Bologna, Rossoblu, push hard for an immediate return to Serie A, ultimately securing a respectable 7th-place finish in a fiercely competitive Serie B. Leading the charge was the prolific veteran Claudio Bellucci, whose impressive tally of 19 goals proved decisive in a season built on a drive for promotion. The campaign, which was made historic by the presence of giants like Juventus and Napoli following the Calciopoli scandal, remains a defining year that anchored the club's resurgence. The 2007-08 campaign delivered a glorious return to the top flight for Bologna as the Rossoblu, under the guidance of manager Daniele Arrigoni, clinched a crucial second-place finish in Serie B to secure automatic promotion back to Serie A. Leading the charge was the clinical centre-forward Massimo Marazzina, whose 23 goals proved decisive in a thrilling season built on grit and consistency. The promotion was dramatically confirmed on the final day with a decisive victory over Pisa. It was a triumphant year that marked the club's hard-won fight to return to the elite and remains a cherished chapter in their modern history.
