Notes

The Chicago Bulls enjoyed a highly successful 2006-07 season, finishing with a strong 49-33 record to secure third place in the Central Division. Highlighting their best campaign in nearly a decade, the Bulls showcased a league-leading defense and achieved a thrilling four-game sweep of the defending champion Miami Heat in the first round of the playoffs. The 2007-08 Chicago Bulls season was a period of transition that saw the team finish with a 33-49 record. Despite the challenges of a coaching change, the season was highlighted by the continued development of Luol Deng and Ben Gordon, who both averaged over 17 points per game, and the promising debut of rookie Joakim Noah. The year also featured a significant mid-season trade that brought in veteran contributors Larry Hughes and Drew Gooden, helping the team remain competitive and finish the season on a high note with consecutive victories. A four-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year and 2004 champion, Ben Wallace was a legendary defensive anchor and Hall of Fame center who spent two seasons with the Chicago Bulls during his decorated 16-year career.
