Notes

The 2007-08 campaign delivered a thrilling, dramatic three-in-a-row Scottish Premier League title for Celtic, the first time achieving that feat since the legendary Jock Stein era. The championship was clinched on the final day, as The Bhoys' crucial 1-0 win against Dundee United, secured by a decisive Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink header, pushed them past rivals Rangers. Leading the charge for a season dedicated to the memory of recently departed coach Tommy Burns was the prolific forward Scott McDonald, whose 25 league goals earned him the SPL Golden Boot. This hard-fought triumph, following a late surge of seven consecutive victories, cemented the club's dominance and remains a defining chapter in the club's modern history.
