In the 2007 MLS season, the LA Galaxy finished 5th in the Western Conference and 10th overall with a 9-14-7 record, failing to qualify for the playoffs for a second straight year. The campaign was headlined by the high-profile mid-season arrival of David Beckham, which brought immense global attention and a complete club rebrand. Landon Donovan led the attack with 8 league goals and 13 assists. Outside of MLS, the Galaxy reached the U.S. Open Cup third round and finished as runners-up in the inaugural North American SuperLiga.
