Notes

The 2007-08 campaign was one of the most memorable and agonizing seasons in Rangers' modern history, as The Gers embarked on an epic, exhausting quest for a quadruple under manager Walter Smith. They ultimately secured a respectable 2nd-place finish in the Scottish Premier League, but the league run was overshadowed by their monumental journey to the UEFA Cup Final in Manchester. Spearheading the domestic charge through a 68-game marathon season was the ever-reliable Kris Boyd, whose 14 league goals proved decisive in a campaign that also delivered a memorable domestic cup double, winning both the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup. It was a historic year defined by sheer resilience, the electric atmosphere of the European nights, and the ultimate heartbreak of the final week's fixture congestion.
