Notes

The 2007-08 campaign delivered a season of stability and top-half ambition for West Ham United as The Hammers secured a respectable 10th-place finish in the Premier League. Under the management of Alan Curbishley, the side was spearheaded by forward Dean Ashton, whose 10 league goals marked a triumphant return to fitness and form. Characterized by the industrious presence of Mark Noble and the defensive reliability of Robert Green, the year was built on a solid home record at the Boleyn Ground and a memorable double over rivals Reading. It was a consolidated year that saw the club establish itself as a competitive top-flight force and remains a positive chapter in the Hammers' modern history.
