Notes
Yellow away shirt as famously worn during the Pep Guardiola’s first season at the Camp Nou, guiding the club to the first treble in Spanish football history. Guardiola’s rebuild would begin with the departures of Deco and Ronaldinho, paving way for the likes of Gerard Piqué, Dani Alves and Sergio Busquets to join what was to become one of the most successful teams of all time. The Catalan giants all but secured their first La Liga title since 2006 with an historic 6-2 El Clásico win over Real Madrid at the Bernabéu which sent shockwaves through the football world. Guardiola’s first trophy would follow with a 4-1 Copa Del Rey final win over Athletic Bilbao on May 13th before the league title was mathematically confirmed just three days later after Real Madrid lost 3-2 to Villarreal. This design was famously worn in the Champions League Semi-Final second-leg with Chelsea as Andrés Iniesta’s dramatic 93rd minute winner clinched Barca a place in Rome for the showpiece final. Goals from Samuel Eto’o and Lionel Messi would prove enough for a 2-0 win over Manchester United, clinching the historic treble and Guardiola’s place in history as the youngest Champions League winning manager of all time
