Notes

The 2008-09 campaign was a season of unprecedented cup heroics for Falkirk, as The Bairns finished 10th in the Scottish Premier League but secured an historic spot in European football. Under manager John Hughes, the club reached the semi-final of the League Cup and, most notably, finished as Scottish Cup Runners-Up, narrowly losing 1-0 to champions Rangers in the final. This incredible run secured their first-ever qualification for the new Europa League. Leading the charge in the league was forward Steve Lovell, whose 8 goals proved crucial in a season defined by moments of cup glory and the emergence of talents like Scott Arfield, marking a defining and unforgettable chapter for The Bairns.
