Notes

In the 2008 season, O Glorioso achieved regional success by winning the Taça Rio after a 1-0 victory over Fluminense in the final at the Maracanã. The Lone Star team also showed great determination in the Campeonato Brasileiro, which included high-scoring results like a 4-1 win against Duque de Caxias and a 2-0 victory over Sport. Key midfielder Lúcio Flávio provided crucial leadership on the pitch, memorably converting important penalties in competitive matches.
