Notes

Home shirt as worn during manager Massimiliano Allegri's final season in Sardinia, the side's impressive form lead to a number of players receiving Italian national team call-ups - namely Davide Biondini, Federico Marchetti, and Andrea Cossu. Despite a solid 12th place with 40 points even after losing regular striker Robert Acquafresca, Cagliari would surprisingly remove Allegri from his managerial duties and youth coach Giorgio Melis was appointed as his replacement to see out the season. The side would end the season in 16th place with 44 points, with young Italian striker Alessandro Matri finishing in the top 10 goal scorers with 13 league goals
