Notes

The 2009-10 campaign for Fiorentina was a season of European flair and domestic challenge, ultimately seeing La Viola finish 11th in Serie A but excel in the UEFA Champions League. The team's true highlight was a fantastic run to the Champions League Round of 16, a journey cemented by a memorable group stage victory over Liverpool and featuring goals from young star Stevan Jovetić and the experienced Adrian Mutu before a tough exit against Bayern Munich. Leading the attack in all competitions was the ever-reliable Alberto Gilardino, whose 19 goals proved vital across the season. It was a year that showcased the squad's immense talent and its ability to compete on the biggest stage, standing as a proud chapter of Cesare Prandelli's successful era.
