Notes

The 2009 New York Giants season began with an explosive 5-0 start, highlighted by a high-powered offense that finished the year ranked 8th in the league in scoring. The season featured standout individual performances, with wide receiver Steve Smith setting a franchise record with 107 receptions and five players earning Pro Bowl selections, including quarterback Eli Manning and first-round pick Hakeem Nicks. While the team finished 8-8, the campaign was marked by memorable victories and the closing of the historic Giants Stadium. The 2010 New York Giants finished with a strong 10-6 record, marking their first season in the new MetLife Stadium with a winning campaign. Led by head coach Tom Coughlin, the team boasted a high-powered offense that gained a franchise-record 6,085 yards and featured two 800-yard rushers in Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs. Despite narrowly missing the postseason, the season was highlighted by a top-ranked pass protection unit that allowed a league-low 16 sacks and the emergence of five Pro Bowl selections, including defensive standout Justin Tuck. The New York Giants highlight of the 2010s was winning Super Bowl XLVI following the 2011 season, their fourth title in franchise history. Though the decade saw periods of transition, the team achieved three winning seasons and featured legendary quarterback Eli Manning, who maintained a remarkable 210-game starting streak. A fifth-round pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, Kevin Boss was a Super Bowl XLII champion tight end for the New York Giants who recorded over 2,000 career receiving yards and 22 touchdowns during his six-season professional career.
