Notes

The 2009-10 campaign was a challenging yet vital season for Piacenza as the Biancorossi finished a precarious 15th in Serie B, successfully navigating a difficult year marked by a mid-season managerial change from Fabrizio Castori to Massimo Ficcadenti. Leading the fight for survival was the team's captain and prolific striker Davide Moscardelli, whose crucial 14 league goals proved decisive in anchoring the attack. His stellar form in this campaign led directly to a highly-coveted move to Serie A with Chievo the following season, marking a significant personal high point. This season, which also featured the emerging talent of a young Radja Nainggolan, remains a defining chapter of the club's enduring battle to remain in the professional ranks.
