Notes

The 2009-10 campaign was a spectacular, club-defining season for Braga, with Os Arcebispos surging to an incredible 2nd-place finish in the Primeira Liga under manager Domingos Paciência. This landmark achievement was their highest-ever league finish and secured a coveted spot in the UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds. Leading the charge was the essential attacking unit Albert Meyong, whose 12 league goals proved vital in a campaign built on an almost perfect home record. It was a golden year that marked the club's dramatic rise, which culminated in their first-ever Champions League group stage appearance the following season after knocking out European giants Celtic and Sevilla.
