Notes

The 2009-10 campaign delivered glorious silverware for Sevilla as Los Nervionenses secured both a 4th-place La Liga finish and the Copa del Rey. Leading the charge was the prolific forward Luís Fabiano, whose 21 goals in all competitions proved decisive in a dramatic season of competitive highs, despite a mid-season change in management. The final in Barcelona saw Sevilla edge out rivals Atlético Madrid 2-0 with goals from Diego Capel and a last-gasp Jesús Navas winner. It was a triumphant year that secured the club's fifth Copa del Rey and remains a defining chapter in their modern history.
