Notes

The 2010-11 campaign delivered a devastating, heartbreaking end to an era for Lincoln City as The Imps finished a crushing 23rd in League Two, resulting in relegation to the Conference National after a spectacular collapse. The season, marked by managerial turmoil and a desperate fight for survival, was defined by an infamous late-season slump where the team managed only two points from the final 33 available. Leading the line was the prolific loanee Ashley Grimes, whose 15 league goals, a tally which earned him the Player of the Season award, were ultimately not enough to prevent the drop. The fate was sealed in unforgettable anguish on the final day with a dismal 0-3 home defeat to Aldershot Town in front of the season's largest crowd, ending the club's 24-year stay in the Football League.
