Notes

The 2010-11 campaign was a season of cup glory and consolidation for Motherwell as The Steelmen, despite a mid-season managerial change, secured a respectable 6th-place finish in the Scottish Premier League. The year was defined by a historic run to the Scottish Cup Final, the club's first major final since 2005, and marked the first time Motherwell had qualified for Europe three seasons in a row. Leading the charge were the joint top league scorers, Nick Blackman and John Sutton, whose 10 league goals each were crucial, including Sutton's decisive double in the memorable 2-0 league victory over title-challenging Celtic. It was a pivotal year that laid the foundation for the successful Stuart McCall era.
