Notes

The 2010-11 campaign for Palermo was a dramatic, rollercoaster season that ultimately ended with a respectable 8th-place finish in Serie A. The year was defined by the stunning emergence of Argentine star Javier Pastore, whose 11 league goals included a memorable hat-trick in the heated derby against Catania. While the league form was turbulent, highlighted by a shocking, club-record 0-7 home loss and a managerial merry-go-round, the Rosanero found glory in the Coppa Italia, sensationally defeating freshly-crowned Serie A champions AC Milan in the semi-finals. This historic cup run led them to a passionate final against Inter, which remains a defining chapter of a season where the team's flair and potential shone brightly despite the inconsistency.
