Notes

The 2010-11 campaign was a turbulent and ultimately frustrating season for RB Salzburg as Die Mozartstädter finished a close 2nd in the Bundesliga, narrowly missing out on a third consecutive title to Sturm Graz. Leading the attack was the prolific Austrian forward Roman Wallner, whose 18 league goals anchored the team's offense. Despite a disappointing European adventure that saw them fail to advance from a tough UEFA Europa League group featuring Manchester City and Juventus, this hard-fought season set the stage for the crucial managerial transition that would usher in the club's next era of success.. The 2011-12 campaign delivered a historic double for FC Red Bull Salzburg as Die Mozartstädter clinched both the Austrian Bundesliga title and their first-ever Austrian Cup trophy under Dutch coach Ricardo Moniz. This landmark success, their seventh league championship, was spearheaded by the lethal joint top goalscorers, Jakob Jantscher and Stefan Maierhofer, who each netted 14 goals, with Jantscher also earning the league's MVP award. It was a season built on a strong finish and the successful integration of young talents, marking a foundational and defining chapter in the club's modern history.
