Notes

The 2010-11 campaign was a tumultuous season of transition for Sheffield Wednesday, marking their return to the third tier where The Owls ultimately finished 15th in League One. The year was defined by off-field financial struggles and a mid-season managerial change from Alan Irvine to Gary Megson. However, leading the charge and providing vital attacking spark was the on-loan striker Neil Mellor, whose 13 league goals (19 overall) proved crucial, including a memorable hat-trick of headers away at MK Dons. It was a challenging year that tested the club's resolve, but the enduring passion of the fans, who delivered an impressive average home attendance of 17,817, remains a defining chapter in the club's modern history.
