Notes

The 2010 season for the Washington franchise, then known as the Redskins, was highlighted by a strong defensive unit that ranked 7th in the league in total yards allowed and 8th in points against. Under first-year head coach Mike Shanahan, the team showed resilience by improving their win total from the previous year and securing notable victories, including a thrilling season-opening win over the Dallas Cowboys. The season also featured standout individual performances, with Pro Bowlers London Fletcher, Brian Orakpo, and DeAngelo Hall leading a competitive defense. The Washington Commanders (then known as the Redskins) experienced several high points during the 2010s, highlighted by two NFC East division titles in 2012 and 2015. The decade was defined by the electrifying 2012 season where Offensive Rookie of the Year Robert Griffin III led the team to seven straight wins to close the regular season, and the 2015 "You Like That?!" campaign featuring a prolific passing offense. Notable individual achievements included Alfred Morris setting the franchise single-season rushing record and Pierre Garçon breaking the franchise record for receptions in a season.
