The 2011-12 campaign was a deeply turbulent season for Fiorentina as La Viola finished a disappointing 13th in Serie A, marked by off-pitch instability and the appointment of three different managers. Leading the line with brilliant individual performances was the sensational young forward Stevan Jovetić, whose 14 crucial goals were a decisive factor in securing survival, including big-game strikes against Juventus and AC Milan. It was a chaotic year that saw key players seeking to leave, yet Jovetić's emergence as a genuine star provided the only real beacon of hope and remains a nostalgic chapter in the club's modern history.
