Notes

The 2011-12 campaign delivered a triumphant return to the top flight for Torino as Il Toro secured a crucial 2nd-place finish in Serie B, earning automatic promotion to Serie A after a three-season absence. Under manager Giampiero Ventura, the campaign was built on defensive solidity, conceding a league-best 28 goals, and a persistent, determined effort that saw them hold the top spot for over 20 weeks. Leading the attack was Mirco Antenucci, whose 10 goals proved decisive. This season, featuring the future leadership of captain Rolando Bianchi and defensive rock Angelo Ogbonna, marked a defining chapter in the club's modern history, finally ending their second-tier exile.
