Notes

The 2012 Dallas Cowboys season was highlighted by a high-powered passing attack that ranked third in the NFL, led by Tony Romo's 4,903 yards and a breakout year from Dez Bryant. Despite finishing 8-8 and narrowly missing the playoffs, the team showed great resilience with several exciting comeback victories and saw three defensive stars—DeMarcus Ware, Anthony Spencer, and Jason Witten—earn Pro Bowl honors. The 2013 Dallas Cowboys season saw the team finish with an 8-8 record, highlighted by a high-powered offense that ranked 5th in the league in scoring. Quarterback Tony Romo threw for 3,828 yards and 31 touchdowns, while wide receiver Dez Bryant and running back DeMarco Murray both earned Pro Bowl selections for their standout performances. Despite narrowly missing the playoffs, the season featured exciting victories, including a clean sweep of the rival New York Giants and a thrilling 51-48 offensive battle against the Denver Broncos. An undrafted free agent out of Monmouth, Miles Austin became a two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys and set a franchise record with 250 receiving yards in a single game during his breakout 2009 season.
