Notes

The 2012-13 campaign delivered a competitive season for Falkirk as The Bairns secured a strong 3rd-place finish in the Scottish First Division. Leading the attack was the prolific English striker Lyle Taylor, whose sensational 24 league goals (29 overall) in his debut season earned him the IRN-BRU Player of the Month award in December. Despite a mid-season managerial transition from Steven Pressley to the new era under Gary Holt, the team's season was also marked by a memorable run to the Scottish Cup Semi-final, cementing a year of exciting attacking football and the emergence of a new cult hero.
