Notes

The 2012-13 campaign delivered a triumphant, long-awaited League Two championship for Gillingham, marking their first league title in nearly 50 years. Under the passionate guidance of manager Martin Allen, The Gills surged to a first-place finish, securing promotion with a crucial draw against AFC Wimbledon in the penultimate match. Leading the charge was their talismanic forward Danny Kedwell, whose 14 league goals proved decisive in a campaign built on defensive solidity, marshaled by captain Adam Barrett and PFA Team of the Year goalkeeper Stuart Nelson, and an incredible 14-game unbeaten away run. It was a historic year that re-established the club's status and remains a defining, glorious chapter for The Gills' faithful.
