Notes

The 2012-13 campaign was a season of solid mid-table stability for Chievo Verona as the Gialloblu secured a respectable 12th-place finish in Serie A, marking their fifth consecutive season in the top flight. Leading the line was the prolific French striker Cyril Théréau, whose crucial 11 league goals were decisive in anchoring the attack and keeping the team comfortably clear of the relegation zone. It was a successful year built on the efforts of veteran captain Sergio Pellissier and emerging talents like Alberto Paloschi, a campaign remembered fondly for its consistency and for securing Chievo's established place in the Italian elite.. The 2013-14 campaign delivered a tense, successful battle for survival for Chievo Verona as the Gialloblu finished a crucial 16th in Serie A, narrowly avoiding relegation. Spearheading the attack was Alberto Paloschi, who enjoyed his best Serie A season, netting 13 league goals (15 in all competitions), which proved vital in the battle to avoid the drop. The campaign was ultimately defined by the mid-season return of former manager Eugenio Corini, who expertly steered I Mussi Volanti away from danger and ensured their eighth consecutive year in Italy's top flight. It was a nervy but crucial year that highlighted the enduring value of veterans like captain Sergio Pellissier and cemented the club's status as perennial Serie A survivors.
