Notes

The 2013-14 campaign delivered a heartbreaking but defining season for Heart of Midlothian as The Jam Tarts were forced into a courageous, impossible fight against relegation after receiving a crippling 15-point deduction for entering administration. Despite the insurmountable penalty, a young squad fought with immense spirit under manager Gary Locke, with the emerging talent Callum Paterson leading the charge with 11 crucial league goals, notably securing a memorable Edinburgh derby victory. The relegation confirmed in April 2014 was a sporting failure born of financial crisis, but the campaign remains an unforgettable chapter defined by the incredible loyalty of the fans, whose financial mobilization ensured the historic club's survival.
