Notes

The 2013-14 campaign delivered a thrilling, high-scoring season for TSG Hoffenheim as they finished a respectable 9th in the Bundesliga. Leading the charge was the sensational young Brazilian, Roberto Firmino, whose career-best 16 league goals and 12 assists earned him the Bundesliga's Breakthrough Player award. Under manager Markus Gisdol, the team adopted an exhilarating, attack-first philosophy, finishing as the league's third-highest scorers with 72 goals. It was a defining chapter that marked Firmino's breakout onto the world stage and a season remembered for its relentless, goal-packed spectacle
