Notes

The 2013-14 campaign delivered a stunning FA Cup run for Sheffield United, providing unforgettable drama amidst a turbulent League One season. After a disastrous start under David Weir, the arrival of new manager Nigel Clough steered The Blades away from relegation danger and led them on a magnificent run to the FA Cup Semi-Final, where they famously defeated Premier League sides Aston Villa and Fulham before narrowly losing 5-3 to Hull City at Wembley. Leading the charge in the league was forward Chris Porter, whose seven crucial league goals were central to securing a respectable 7th-place finish. It was a defiant year built on gritty resilience that re-established the club's fighting spirit and remains a defining chapter of their modern history.
