Notes

The 2013-14 campaign was a season of dramatic turmoil and transition for Tottenham Hotspur, defined by the club's ambitious yet troubled attempt to reinvest the Gareth Bale transfer money. The season saw a significant mid-season change, with manager André Villas-Boas replaced by Tim Sherwood, as the team ultimately battled to a 6th-place finish, securing a Europa League spot. Leading the charge in the league was the resurgent Emmanuel Adebayor, whose 11 crucial goals provided a key attacking outlet. Crucially, the campaign is remembered as the moment the club's future began, as academy graduate Harry Kane, then wearing number 37, broke into the first team, scoring three goals in successive final matches to offer the first thrilling glimpse of a star in the making.
