Notes

The 2013-14 campaign was a season of profound struggle and ultimate heartbreak for Shrewsbury Town, as Salop's second consecutive year in League One ended with a crushing 23rd-place finish and relegation to the fourth tier. The year was marked by managerial turmoil, with veteran Graham Turner resigning in January following a dire run, leaving Michael Jackson unable to arrest the slide. Despite the difficulties, the emerging young winger Jon Taylor led the charge with his 9 goals being a bright, attacking spark in a painful chapter defined by the fight for survival that ultimately fell short.. The 2014-15 campaign delivered instant promotion glory for Shrewsbury Town as Salop finished a spectacular 2nd in League Two, successfully bouncing straight back to the third tier at the first attempt. Under the guidance of manager Micky Mellon, the side was spearheaded by the prolific James Collins, whose 15 league goals proved decisive in a season built on a formidable defense that conceded just 31 goals. It was a triumphant year that marked a swift return to the Football League One and remains a defining chapter of the club's resilience.
