Notes

The 2014-15 campaign was a tense, dramatic fight for survival for Atalanta as La Dea finished a precarious 17th in Serie A, narrowly securing top-flight status by just three points. The turning point came in March with the arrival of manager Edoardo Reja, who stabilized the team during a turbulent period and was hailed as the club's savior. Leading the desperate charge for goals was the Argentine veteran Germán Denis, whose 8 strikes proved absolutely vital, including a memorable winning goal away to AC Milan at the San Siro. The season culminated in a collective sigh of relief, as survival was dramatically secured on May 10 with a crucial 3-2 victory away to Palermo, marking a hard-fought and unforgettable battle to retain their place in the Italian elite.
