The 2014-15 campaign delivered a season of strong consolidation for Blackburn Rovers, as Gary Bowyer guided the side to a respectable 9th-place finish in the Championship. The team's attack was anchored by the prolific strike partnership of Jordan Rhodes, who grabbed 21 league goals, and Rudy Gestede. Rovers also enjoyed an impressive run in the FA Cup, reaching the quarter-finals before being knocked out by Liverpool. This season confirmed the club's stability in the second tier and is fondly remembered for the incredible goalscoring synergy of its formidable strike force.
