Notes

The 2014-15 campaign delivered a season of strong consistency and deep cup runs for La Viola, as Vincenzo Montella's side secured a respectable 4th-place finish in Serie A and reached the Semi-finals of both the Coppa Italia and the UEFA Europa League. While Josip Iličić was the top league scorer with 8 goals, the season's defining moment was the explosive second-half arrival of Mohamed Salah, who joined on loan in January and immediately galvanized the attack. Salah’s instant, spectacular form, which included crucial goals against Inter and Tottenham, provided a surge of excitement and memorable moments for the Viola faithful in a year built on European adventure and a continued challenge for Italy's elite.
