The 2014-15 campaign was a season of landmark success for Fleetwood Town as The Cod Army navigated their first-ever season in the third tier of English football, the newly-minted League One. Under the guidance of manager Graham Alexander, they established themselves brilliantly, achieving a superb 10th-place finish, at the time, the club's highest league placing in history. Leading the charge with eight crucial league goals each were David Ball and loanee Josh Morris, propelling a side that quickly adapted to the new level of competition and remains a proud chapter for the Highbury Stadium faithful.
