Notes

The 2014-15 campaign was a tense, nail-biting fight for survival for Hertha Berlin as Die Alte Dame finished a precarious 15th in the Bundesliga, narrowly escaping the relegation play-offs. The season was defined by turbulence, with the mid-season sacking of manager Jos Luhukay and the pivotal appointment of club legend Pál Dárdai to steer the ship. Leading the line in a difficult campaign was new signing Julian Schieber, whose 7 crucial league goals proved decisive in the desperate battle to secure their top-flight status. It was a season of drama, the start of Dárdai's memorable first tenure, and a crucial chapter of grit that kept the historic club in the top division.
