Notes

The 2014-15 campaign was a season of dramatic, mid-table turbulence for Nottingham Forest, with The Reds ultimately finishing 14th in the Championship. The year was defined by a managerial split, starting brightly under club legend Stuart Pearce before a slump led to his sacking and the arrival of Dougie Freedman, who engineered a brief period of brilliant form. Leading the charge was the prolific Britt Assombalonga, whose 15 league goals, matched in all competitions by Michail Antonio, were crucial until Assombalonga suffered a devastating, season-ending knee injury in February. This injury was a defining moment that curtailed Forest's attacking threat, contributing to an end-of-season collapse that saw promotion hopes fade and cemented a frustrating chapter for the City Ground faithful.
