The 2014-15 campaign delivered a season of strong ambition for RB Leipzig as Die Roten Bullen secured a respectable 5th-place finish in their debut 2. Bundesliga season, narrowly missing out on promotion. Leading the charge was the potent forward Yussuf Poulsen, whose 11 league goals anchored an exciting attack. It was a foundational year marked by the mid-season arrival of future star Emil Forsberg, laying the groundwork for their eventual promotion and remaining a crucial chapter in the club's rapid ascent.
