The 2014-15 campaign was a season of thrilling cup runs and ultimate heartbreak in the league for Sheffield United. The Blades, led by manager Nigel Clough, finished 5th in League One, with Scottish forward Jamie Murphy leading the league scoring charts with 11 goals.
