The 2014 Texas Rangers season was a year of resilience as the team navigated an unprecedented wave of injuries, ultimately setting a Major League record by using 40 different pitchers. Despite a challenging 67-95 record, the season ended on a high note with a spirited 13-3 run in September under interim manager Tim Bogar. This period of transition allowed the franchise to provide valuable major league experience to promising young talents like Rougned Odor and Shawn Tolleson, while also securing a high draft pick to bolster the team's future core. A six-time All-Star and two-time Home Run Derby champion, Prince Fielder was a powerful first baseman for the Texas Rangers who earned 2015 AL Comeback Player of the Year honors before neck injuries prematurely ended his career.
