The 2015-16 campaign was a turbulent season of transition for Bursaspor as Yeşil Timsahlar navigated managerial changes to finish a mid-table 11th in the Süper Lig. Leading the charge was Czech forward Tomáš Necid, whose 11 crucial league goals proved vital in a campaign built on upheaval and the historic move into the new Bursa Büyükşehir Belediye Stadyumu. The year, which also saw the team contest the Süper Kupa Final, marked a period of growing instability that unfortunately foreshadowed the club's later decline.
