Notes

The 2015-16 campaign delivered a season of brilliance and frustration for Everton as The Toffees secured a disappointing 11th-place finish in the Premier League. Leading the charge was the prolific forward Romelu Lukaku, whose 18 goals in the league, part of a 25-goal haul across all competitions, cemented his status as one of Europe's top strikers. The season's true highlight was the run to the FA Cup semi-final, defined by Lukaku's incredible solo goal of "sheer brute strength" against his former club Chelsea in the quarter-final. It was a turbulent year under manager Roberto Martínez that showcased stunning individual talent but ultimately fell short of the club's European ambitions and remains a chapter of what-if moments for The Toffees faithful.
