The 2015-16 campaign delivered their highest-ever Premier League finish for Southampton, as The Saints, led by manager Ronald Koeman, surged to a spectacular 6th-place finish, securing a coveted spot in the UEFA Europa League Group Stage. Leading the charge were the joint league top-scorers, Sadio Mané and Graziano Pellè, whose 11 goals each proved decisive in a campaign built on defensive solidity and a phenomenal late-season surge that included a famous 3-2 comeback victory over Liverpool. It was a historic year that marked the club's Premier League peak and remains a defining chapter in the club's modern history.
